Sophia Serpas, D.D.S

About the Dentist

Dr. Sophia Serpas grew up in New Orleans, LA where she attended an all-girl Catholic high school, Mount Carmel Academy. She later attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. Dr. Serpas’ passion for dentistry is influenced by her father, who has been a practicing dentist in New Orleans for over 35 years. She spent many summers in his office working in all of the different positions and developed a great appreciation for all of the roles it takes to run an office. Dr. Serpas then pursued her dental school education at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry back in New Orleans, earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in her hometown. Dr. Serpas is very excited to experience North Louisiana life and serve this community. Outside of work, one of her favorite ways to spend an evening is sitting on her parents’ porch with friends and family. She also enjoys trying new recipes in the kitchen, tending to her garden, and taking her dog for walks.
